This place located inside the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. This is the only kbbq I know in dtla. The food is good, specially their beef bulgogi and japchae are my favorite. I usually order my food through ritual app, it's more convenient for me since I only have 1 hour lunch time. Very friendly stuff, and I love that they have hot water and hot tea corner. This is my go to kbbq place in dtla and will keep coming back.

My experience: I walked into this hard-to-find hole in the wall place tucked away on the 4th floor of the Westin Bonaventure. It was 1pm on a Friday, and it looked like all the patrons were local office workers on lunch break. Overall, it was not busy, about 1/3 of the seating were taken and there was only one person in line.

The staff immediately came off as inefficient and completely apathetic. There was sporadic but empty occasional eye contact, no urge to actually serve customers. The staff was robotically going through the motions. While waiting in the line (there was one person in front of us), a younger male came into the shop and cut in front of us, because he wanted to "quickly" get a side order. The older man behind the counter obliged, clearly OK with allowing people to cut in line.

Then, it was finally our turn. We stood at the counter in front of the register, while the 2 men behind the counter (one old, one younger) completely ignored us for a few minutes. They did their thing, called out an order for pick up, looked at us a few times, never once acknowledged us or greeted us, and literally pretended we didn't exist. While not helping us, the old man found time stack up a few trays, and the younger man stood near us opting to wait for someone to pick up that one order instead of taking our order, telling us he will help us soon, or doing anything to signal that they knew we existed.

Nope. He just stood there, directly to our left facing us... Talked into the mic.... Look at us.... Waited..... Looked at us.... Looked at the receipt in his hand... Waited.... Looked at us...... Waited...waited...waited... Looked at us....It felt like eternity, and literally nobody helped us and nobody took our order.

After a few minutes of that, we simply left. I guess they don't want customers? So, good bye--never going back.

    VERY SMALL PORTION.

it was good but very small portion
It only cost $6.95, so very affordable but more like an appetizer. I would recommend getting two bowls for one person.

The Taste was pretty good.  The chicken was a little dry but the rice was cook throughly.

    I would come back.

This is definitely a fast food place. The food is decent and inexpensive making it a good quick lunch option. You can't beat $10 for half and half mains, 2 sides, white rice, and a drink.

The flavors are there but lack the usual boldness of Korean food. Perhaps due to its fast-food nature, everything tastes a bit bland. But since there isn't really any Korean food downtown if you have a craving this place checks the box.

This spot is incredibly popular so try to get here closer to 11-11:30. Food can take a bit so not ideal for a lunch on the run but the food is fresh and great, the wait is worth it! The spicy rice cake with noodles is delicious, the bulgogi and curry are also very good. The staff here are incredibly nice and overall a treasure in downtown LA, where paying $20 for a mediocre sandwich seems to be the norm. Can't recommend this spot enough!
